When my daughter was eight, she asked if she could use my antiperspirant and I couldn’t bare the thought of her putting all of those chemicals on her skin. It made me wonder what else had nasty chemicals in them. I started to do a bit of research and was quite alarmed.
From then, I started playing round with ingredients and making a few things myself. I’ve always loved crafting and creating things and I started with small batches of soap. I continued making ALL of our personal care products for a couple of years.
During this time, we started a smallholding and really lived the good life for a while but once the smallholding finished, I began blogging and came to discover some wonderful small brands.
I missed making my own products so I did a course online about formulating skincare and made some Christmas gifts for friends and family and I’ve really progressed from there.
Skincare is my passion and I really believe people should use natural and plant based ingredients.
My daughter turns 18 next month, so we've been green beauty addicts for ten years now.
